About us
The Golden Mango House is a simple yet comfortable Bed & Breakfast, located in Sam Roi Yot, Prachuap Khiri Khan province, Thailand. Its name comes from the world-famous Namdokmai mango (golden mango) that is enjoyed, often with sticky rice, all across Thailand, and beyond. We are located 120 meters from Nong Khao Niao beach (Sticky Rice beach).
The Golden Mango House boasts only 2 very large (90m2) and comfortable suites, ideal for the individual travellers who enjoy their private space, but also for families or small groups. If you come to Sam Roi Yot to explore what it can offer in terms of healthy lifestyle and sports, the Golden Mango House might just be for you. Not only is Sam Roi Yot becoming a bit of a hot spot for runners, hikers, open water swimmers, cyclists and triathletes who come here for training, the Golden Mango House also is now the HQ for our Borneo Paddle Monkeys' Thai Stand Up Paddling operation, which means that we run SUP tours and expeditions to some of the unique locations our area has to offer: beaches, islands, rivers, marshes, lakes, etc....

We are an unusual, funky and private house close to the beach, with an indoor and outdoor bar on the 2nd floor, and a top deck (with sea and mountain views) on the 3rd floor.
We offer 2 large rooms, the Mango Suite and the Elephant Suite, each able to accommodate 3 people (with space for a possible additional 2).
We are the ideal venue for families, small groups, sports teams coming to Sam Roi Yot for training, retreats, water sports camps, Muay Thai camps, seminars, team-building, wedding parties, or anyone looking for extra privacy or just wishing to avoid the usual, bigger and more sanitized hotels or resorts.

We are experienced paddleboarders and offer to take you on SUP tours to explore our awesome SUP spots: sea, islands, rivers, lakes, marshes, etc... Our SUP gear is top class.
Special Events
On top of being a cozy Bed & Breakfast, the Golden Mango House is also available for parties and all sorts of gatherings, on its 2nd and 3rd floors (indoor and outdoor bars, and sundeck). Maximum capacity: 25 people. Talk to us for details.

What local attractions are nearby?
Just Googling Sam Roi Yot will give you a good idea about the local points of interest. In general Sam Roi Yot is not at all mass-touristy so you will find most of those hot spots still quite authentic. That's what we like about this place.
We would recommend the Nakhon cave hike (not as easy as most people would think though), as well as the Lotus lake and its marshes and boardwalk . Both those sites are part of the National Park.
On top of that, we can take you on a tour of our very own mango plantation (30 minutes away). You can help us pick mangoes there, if in the right season.
Another cool thing to check out in the area (1 hour drive) for nature and animal lovers, is the elephant oasis, in the Kui Buri National Park.
